The town of STO.DOMINGO was originally named LIBOG. Albay historians say
that there were a number of stories on the origin of the name LIBOG
We
have a festival called SARUNG BANGGI FESTIVAL – it is an annual celebration
held every May for the commemoration of Potenciano Gregorio, Sr. contribution
to Bicol heritage as sto.domingo, albay. Potenciano Gregorio, Sr. – is a
composer of Bicolano song SARUNG BANGGI he made a lot of songs. He is a
composer and musicians. He is a composer and musicians. He is born on May 19,
1880.
The festival’s main highlight is the celebration of Gregorio’s love song
composition, Sarung Banggi. The festival’s main attraction is a street dance
presentation which interprets the song. Here is the statue of Saint Dominic De

tidbits. The LINANGGANG FESTIVAL in fidel surtida , they sell the lots of
tidbits, the pinuso, suman, puto, bibingka, etc. And the most popular dishes in
sto.domingo are all spicy food, the Bicol express, and Pinangat . We have a
good attractive beaches, good views for taking pictures and good background for
Mayon Volcano . You can enjoy watching and swim of those beaches we has. We
have a Barrios kids pool , Manhattan beach resort, Puerto vista, Costa Palmera,
and so on . It is good for vacations and stay here in a SANTO DOMINGO , you can
